Massachusetts Association of Healthcare Quality (MAHQ)

About Us

The Massachusetts Association for Healthcare Quality (MAHQ) is the state association for healthcare quality professionals. We serve as an educational resource and provide opportunities for enhancing knowledge and proficiency in the field of quality improvement. Since 1975, MAHQ has provided a forum where healthcare quality professionals can join together to advance this specialty.

Our membership consists of professionals across the healthcare continuum and is representative of acute care, long term care, community and home health, hospice, rehabilitative medicine, behavioral health, ambulatory and managed care settings. Membership is open to all healthcare professionals in Massachusetts who are interested in improving healthcare quality.

Benefits of membership include valuable educational offerings at reduced rates, nursing CEUs, networking opportunities, the change to be awarded MAHQ quality grants, and access to quality improvement career opportunities. We offer annual Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preparation courses provided by nationally recognized experts, ongoing CPHQ mentoring sessions, and CPHQ continuing credits.

If you are committed to moving healthcare forward through personal and professional growth and appreciate the value of shared learning through connecting with other quality professionals, then consider joining MAHQ.
